Psychotherapy

A trusting therapeutic relationship forms the foundation of every treatment. Within a respectful and supportive framework, I work together with you to understand the difficulties or conflicts you are currently facing and to develop new ways of dealing with them.

My work is based on cognitive behavioral therapy. Depending on the individual situation, I also integrate perspectives and methods from other therapeutic approaches, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Schema Therapy. The aim is to develop a deeper understanding of personal patterns, inner conflicts, and current challenges, and to enable meaningful and lasting changes in everyday life.

At the beginning of treatment, we take time for a careful diagnostic assessment. On this basis, we discuss together which therapy goals are appropriate and which treatment approach best fits your situation.

A therapy session lasts 50 minutes and usually takes place once per week. The duration of treatment varies and may range from short-term therapy with up to 24 sessions to longer-term therapy with 45 to a maximum of 80 sessions.
